He groomed himself and found an apartment near Lea and stayed there, waiting for the perfect time to introduce himself to his crush. She finally had enough and put some sense on drunk Tonyo, which helped him get back on his feet. Everyday he was drunk and passing out, but Lea gave him food daily, not knowing he was Tonyo back then. Tonyo decided to follow the girl, and he then discovered where she lived and stayed near that place. He stopped at one point to take a picture of himself holding the beer and when he checked the shot, there was an pretty girl in the background. While in Sapporo, he decided to get drunk and tour the city of Japan with a can of beer. Tonyo went through a horrible breakup back then, when Lea was still with her boyfriend and was still her old self. In the letter Lea read, it finally explained everything in Tonyo’s perspective, from start to finish: There were pictures of her in the room, and an unsent letter which she decided to read. Still roaming around, she found a room with a thousand paper cranes and other small trinkets, which she checked. Lea, crestfallen and sad, went to Tonyo’s house to reminisce all their memories together. The scenes fast forwarded a few days after. Lea saw all these with her own eyes, her world spinning and breaking down once again just after it was finally fixed. Tonyo, while walking back to Lea, smiling face and all, was suddenly hit by a moving vehicle, then causing his death. They were both ecstatic at that moment, but the happiest moment of their relationship was taken back by the universe. It was then she finally saw Tonyo in the flesh. Lea, after waiting for a while, finally got her vision back. The two then continue their sweet adventures in Japan.In the midst of their date, Tonyo wanted to surprise Lea, so he left her in the side of the streets to wait. When they were eating noodles, Tonyo finally confessed to Lea that he likes her. Together, they toured around Japan and developed a strong bond, which eventually led into romance. Tonyo, being persistent, eventually wore down her walls and the two became friends. He is seen to be friendly and cheerful, bringing Lea different Filipino cuisines everyday even though she pushes him away. Then we enter Tonyo, another Filipino who moved in next door near Lea’s apartment. The happy-go-lucky Lea was nowhere to be seen, with the recent breakup that traumatized her.

Lea broke down and left them together, crying. When she arrived, she saw her boyfriend with her friend, having an affair. Lea, thinking it was her boyfriend (whom she currently had a small fight with because he couldn’t make it to their anniversary) was excited.
